The spice market is where they sell different spices, teas, nuts, Turkish delight and caviar. Spices are mixed and prepared for meals of meat, fish or chicken. Turkey shares borders with countries such as Russia and Iran, which is why in the market products like caviar and saffron can be found. Nuts, hazelnuts and pistachios are the most popular products. The residents often buy the red tea but there are milder flavors for tourists like apple tea which is the most famous one. These stores also sell candy and the Turkish delight “Lokum”. There won’t be any problem buying these things because they are vacuum – wrapped and prepared for long distance travelling.
